"does it ever stop hurting?" aaron asked the person next to him, pulling the cigarette away from his lips to blow smoke in the opposite direction. "loosing someone here or i guess in general." he didn't know why he decided to bring that up, maybe it was just needing someone to listen, someone who didn't know him or his family or to look at him with sadness in their eyes.
